Gourmetage needed a dependable way to connect its Shopware 6 shop with Gurado, the external system responsible for managing voucher and gift card products for the retailer.

The challenge was not only technical integration. It was about creating a workflow that remained consistent across two connected systems with different responsibilities.

Gurado managed voucher and gift card products on behalf of the retailer. Gourmetage, however, needed those products to appear correctly in the shop, reflect current data from Gurado, and trigger the right order flow when customers purchased them. Any inconsistency between product data, fees, order transfer, or customer communication would have created operational friction and a poor buying experience.

What We Delivered

BrandCrock developed a custom Shopware 6 connector that linked Gourmetage directly with the Gurado platform through REST APIs.

The connector handled both sides of the workflow. On the product side, it collected voucher and gift card data, including media, from Gurado and displayed it in the Shopware storefront. On the order side, it transferred voucher- and gift-card-related order information directly from Gourmetage to Gurado CRM as soon as the order was placed.

The integration also included retrieval of shipping and envelope fees from the live Gurado system, ensuring that fee-related information remained aligned with the external platform rather than being maintained separately inside the shop.

Beyond synchronization and transmission, BrandCrock extended the workflow into daily operations. Voucher and gift card orders could be identified and filtered in the admin panel, voucher information could be displayed in email communication, and customers could track relevant voucher details in their account area.

The result was not only a connection between two systems, but a more manageable voucher workflow across storefront, order handling, internal administration, and customer touchpoints.

Product and media synchronization from Gurado

BrandCrock developed a custom REST-based connector that retrieved voucher and gift card information, including media assets, from Gurado and displayed it inside the Gourmetage shop.

Direct order transmission to Gurado CRM

When customers placed voucher or gift card orders in the shop, the connector transferred the relevant order information directly to Gurado CRM. Shipping and envelope fees were also pulled from the live Gurado environment.
Outcome: order handling became more reliable and more consistent across both systems.

Admin and customer workflow visibility

The integration improved how voucher-related orders were handled after purchase. Orders could be tracked and filtered in the admin panel, voucher details were available in email templates, and customers could follow voucher information from their account area.
