Quick View

Quick View extension allows end customers to view the product details on the product listing page without the need to navigate to the product detail page in a new tab. The quick view appears as a pop-up page and the Add to Cart button in the same window. The pop-up window can optionally have the same information and options as a product detail page. End customers can add multiple products to their cart from the same window after having a quick view of the products.

The quick view button can be customized with button text, background, and text color. The button text default appears as “Quick View” in the shop front-end, which can be changed in the shop backend. Additionally, extra information for the products like detailed product information, social sharing icons, upsell products, wishlisting options and compare product options can be displayed on the pop-up if enabled in the shop backend.

How Does the Extension Work?

After logging in to the Magento 2 backend, go to Configuration under Stores, and click Quick View under the BrandCrock tab. In the general settings page, provide the configurable options and click Save to save the settings. Next, enable the extension by clicking “Yes”, and provide the button text, color and background color. If no text is given for a button, by default “Quick View” appears for all buttons below each product.

You can choose one or more options under Product Blocks to add more options in the quick view page of a product. The Product Blocks has options to add Product Details tab, Related Products, Upsell Products, Reviews, Add to Wishlist, and Add to Compare. Enabling settings here will appear globally for all products in the shop front-end. Scroll down the quick view page to view more details enabled here.
